We at the East Charlotte website said a while back we would not get into the business of endorsing a politician, but while the District Attorney may be elected, he or she is much more than a politician.
They are the person who will fight for funds, get more prosecutors and be the person who will come out to our community to explain to us what needs to be done to fight crime in our area.
That is why we have decided to take the move to Endorse Andrew Murray For Our District Attorney.
We encourage you to look into the only candidate with extensive criminal prosecuting experience and a commitment to the law. We appreciate the other candidate but this job needs less a political figure and more of a go to person to take control of the growing gang problems and other revolving door criminals who we have seen get out only to do even more and worst crimes.
